In 2008, Film Forum, New York presented a complete retrospective in 16mm.
 
During June and July, 2011 the Museum of Modern Art in New York held
a major retrospective of Les Blank's work,
including his latest works and works in progress.
 
In 2011 Les Blank received the Folk Alliance International Lifetime Achievement Award.
